As one of Dynapower's Transformer Winding Technicians, you are responsible for the winding of the transformer coils that go into our rectifiers, cast transformers, and oil filled transformers. We're looking for people with mechanical and electrical aptitude, the ability to gas braze copper is a plus. On an average day, you’ll

• Wind conductors per engineering prints, by:
  • Preparing the winding forms
  • Gathering the necessary materials, such as insulation, tube and strapping material
  • Setting up the winding and tensioning equipment
  • Winding up to 6 conducters onto the winding mold or block
  • Installing insulating materials
• Check the quality of the finished product before it leaves your area
• Put safety first, all day every day.

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Able to gas braze copper preferred
• MIG welding experience preferred

This is a full-time, non-exempt position scheduled from Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m (but we have flexible hours). This position works in a manufacturing production environment. This role routinely uses standard personal protective equipment such as required Safety Glasses and Safety shoes as well as hearing protection and gloves, as required.
