Summary

As Dynapower’s Product Manager, you’ll help find market-product fit opportunities enabling the development and deployment of novel power electronic systems. Working with cross functional teams, you’ll drive successful product launches by effectively communicating product features across the organization. You are great at collaborating with other departments and have an intuitive understanding of product and process scalability. You understand electrical power equipment compliance and know how to work with a global supply chain of domestic and international partners. You can keep a cool head and meet your deadlines when working on multiple simultaneous projects.

What You'll Be Doing

On an average day, you’ll

  • Define and maintain product development roadmaps
  • Research and develop Product Requirement Documents (PRD)
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for new product development
  • Work cross functionally to drive successful product launches
  • Train the sales team on product features and provide appropriate reference documentation
  • Refine product positioning to maximize product value
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for your products
  • Track market trends and perform competitive analysis

What You Need To Apply

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working for an industrial equipment manufacturer
  • 3-5 years of experience working in an Engineering or Project Management role
  • Demonstrable experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
  • Effective cross-functional team management

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with product promotion and product launches
  • Experience in power electronics, power systems, and/or compliance
  • Experience working in a global supply chain managing Contract Manufacturing

Work Environment

This is a full-time exempt position, Monday through Friday. This position requires periodic evening and weekend work. It is based in South Burlington, VT and is eligible for hybrid or fully remote work. This position requires up to 25% domestic, overnight travel.  Periodic international travel may be required. The position operates in both a professional office environment and manufacturing environment.

This position may involve access to ITAR (International Traffic and Arms Regulations)-controlled information, requiring verification of US-immigration status which is used solely for determining applicable ITAR licensing requirements.
