This position is responsible for supporting the Segment Manager in all aspects of the sales process, including managing inbound inquiries, writing proposals, interfacing with applications engineering on pricing and system design and organizing project hand-off documentation. Dynapower has four Segments within the Clean Energy Business Unit: Renewables, Microgrids, e-Mobility and Hydrogen. We're currently hiring a Key Account Manager for our Hydrogen segment.

• Responsible for assembling and writing quotes.
• Use Dynapower’s quote tools and processes to generate and publish world class quotes for technical products and systems
• Work with Applications Engineering to ensure the content is accurate
• Work across departments (Quality, Scheduling, Accounting, etc.) to incorporate needed information
• Managing inbound customer and prospect enquiries
• Receiving both inbound web and phone enquiries
• Determining which incoming enquires are a fit for Dynapower
• Delegating incoming leads as necessary
• Customer relationship management
• Take lead role in managing key customer relationships
• Working with customers to determine customer needs
• Ensuring customer expectations and deadlines are met
• Ensuring project documentation is complete prior to order entry
• Working with Segment Manager and Applications Engineering to ensure all details needed for order entry and handoff to Operations are fulfilled

Education & Experience

• Bachelor Degree required (preferably in a technical field)
• 5 years professional experience required.
• Working experience from a power electronics and/or renewable energy equipment manufacturer preferred.
• An understanding of the renewable energy industry preferred.

Competencies

• Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
• Microsoft suite of programs is a requirement, particularly competency with Word and Excel
• Detail oriented to ensure all written communications are consistent and of the highest quality
• Comfort and background in dealing in a highly technical field (technical degree or past training is not required)
• Ability and willingness to learn new technical concepts
• Collaboration; ability to work as part of a team and across departments.
• Must be able to prioritize multiple and simultaneous projects, issues and activities and work across multiple time zones with the ability to meet deadlines.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. This position requires periodic evening and weekend work. This position is based in South Burlington, VT but can be performed remotely within the continental US. This position requires up to 10% domestic, overnight travel.  Periodic international travel may be required.  Remote candidates will be expected to travel to company headquarters approximately once per quarter.
